Real oak, made dimensionally stable.
Engineered wood is real European oak. A true hardwood top layer typically 3-4 mm thick. Bonded to a multi-ply core. Underneath the oak you can feel and refinish, the cross-laminated layers keep the plank dimensionally stable in a way solid hardwood simply isn’t. Particularly valuable in the Gulf, where heat and humidity would cause solid wood to expand, contract, and cup.
It’s the right choice when you want the unmistakable warmth, character, and patina of real oak underfoot. And the option to sand and refinish the floor years down the line. Slower to deliver than SPC and LVT (it’s sourced and finished to order), but worth the wait when real wood is what the room asks for.

Lacquer or Oiled Finish A thin protective top finish. Choose hardwax oil for matte natural feel, or lacquer for harder-wearing sheen.

02
Real Oak Top Layer 3-4 mm of solid European oak. This is the wood you see, feel, and can sand and refinish in years to come.
-
03
Cross-Laminated Multi-Ply Core Three layers of birch and pine plywood, laid in alternating directions for dimensional stability against humidity and heat.

04
Oak Balancing Veneer A thin oak veneer on the underside that balances tension across the plank and helps prevent cupping.
When real wood is what the room asks for.
Real European Oak
A genuine 3-4 mm hardwood top layer. Real grain, real character, real patina that develops with age.
Multi-Ply Stability
Cross-laminated core resists the expansion and cupping that solid hardwood suffers from in Gulf humidity.
Sandable & Refinishable
The thick top layer can be sanded and refinished once or twice over the floor’s lifetime. Effectively a new floor.
UFH Compatible
Compatible with chilled-water and electric underfloor heating up to 27°C. Warms beautifully without warping.
Sustainably Sourced
FSC-certified European oak from managed forests. Long-life flooring with a smaller footprint than tropical hardwoods.
10-Year Warranty
Residential warranty on the structural integrity of the plank, covered by both supplier and our installation guarantee.
For rooms where real wood is non-negotiable.
Engineered wood is at its best in spaces where you want to feel and see real oak underfoot. Living rooms, bedrooms, libraries, dining rooms, hallways, and any heritage-feeling interior. It’s not for wet rooms (use SPC there), but it earns its keep everywhere else through warmth, character, and the kind of patina that only real wood develops.
