Who you're dealing with
These terms cover purchases and services from The FloorHaus™, Al Quoz, Dubai, UAE ("we", "us"). By placing an order or booking our services you agree to them. Questions first? hello@thefloorhaus.com or WhatsApp — we'd rather clear things up before you order.
Quotes, samples & site visits
Samples and site visits within Dubai are free. Quotes are based on the measurements we take (or you provide) and the products specified, and remain valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. If you supply your own measurements, please double-check them — orders are placed against the quoted scope.
Orders & payment
Orders are confirmed on receipt of payment or deposit as set out in your quote. Stocked colours are typically available for same-week delivery; pre-order colours and engineered wood are supplied to order, with lead times confirmed before you commit (typically 4–8 weeks for engineered wood).
Delivery
Delivery within Dubai is free. We'll agree a delivery window with you, and ask that someone is available to receive the material. Flooring should acclimatise on site as we advise before installation.
Installation & workmanship guarantee
Where we install, we handle everything from measure to handover, and our workmanship is guaranteed. If something we fitted isn't right, tell us and we'll put it right at no cost. The guarantee covers our installation work; product performance is covered by the manufacturer's warranty supplied with your flooring (up to 25 years residential / 10 years commercial on our SPC range, per the product datasheet).
Natural variation
Wood and wood-effect flooring varies — in colour, grain, and knot structure — between samples, photographs, screens, and production batches. That variation is part of the product, not a defect. Inspect planks in good light before and during installation; planks with visible defects should not be installed, and should be reported to us for replacement.
Underfloor heating
SPC is compatible with underfloor heating up to a surface temperature of 28°C, subject to correct commissioning (gradual ramp-up of no more than 2°C per day). Exceeding this, or skipping the ramp-up, may damage the floor and void the manufacturer's warranty. Ask us before installing over UFH — we'll confirm compatibility in writing.
Returns & cancellations
Unopened, full boxes of stocked colours can be returned in resalable condition within 14 days of delivery; delivery/collection costs may apply. Pre-order and made-to-order material (including engineered wood and wrapping finishes) is ordered specifically for you and can't be returned once your order is placed, except where faulty.
Visualiser
The Visualiser is a beta tool that uses AI to preview a floor in your photo. Previews are indicative only — colours and patterns on screen are not a substitute for a physical sample in your own light. Order a sample (free) before deciding.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under UAE law. Beyond that, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not responsible for damage caused by site conditions we weren't told about, third-party trades, or failure to follow care and commissioning guidance.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates and the Emirate of Dubai, and any disputes fall to the courts of Dubai.
